Yes, any part of your paycheck deposited via ACH will qualify for Early Paycheck.

How do I know if my employer participates in Direct Deposit so that I can take advantage of Early Paycheck?

Most large employers or employers who use a payroll service offer Direct Deposit for all or part of your paycheck. Contact your employer’s Human Resources Department or Payroll Department for details.

If I am paid by check and I get my paper check early, can I deposit or cash my check early?

No, we are not able to negotiate a check that is dated for the future.

Do you have a list of early paydays associated with Early Paycheck?

Because we process payroll and ACH deposits for a wide variety of companies and businesses, there is no set calendar for Early Paycheck. However, you should expect your payroll to post 1 to 3 calendar days early (Monday - Friday excluding holidays).

We recommend that you do not write checks or authorize any other withdrawals against your directly deposited funds until you verify that they have been posted to your account. You are responsible for any overdraft fees from transactions clearing prior to your payroll deposit.

How early am I paid with Early Paycheck?

You will be paid at least one calendar day early with Early Paycheck but there may be instances where you are paid two to three calendar days in advance of your payday. Posting dates and times for Early Paycheck can vary depending upon when MIDFLORIDA receives the information for your payroll, therefore we cannot guarantee early processing.

Remember, you are responsible for any overdraft fees from transactions clearing prior to your payroll deposit. We recommend that you do not write checks or authorize any other withdrawals against your directly deposited funds until you verify that they have been posted to your account.

If I am paid by the Polk County School Board and already get my pay early, will I get my paycheck even earlier?

No. Polk County School Board already receive their pay early.

Will my automatic transfers or payments post earlier if I have Early Paycheck?

Early Paycheck will not impact or change any of your automatic transfers or payments.

We suggest that you do not adjust any automatic payments to match when you anticipate to receive your paycheck early as this service is not guaranteed and you are responsible for any overdraft fees from transactions clearing prior to your payroll deposit.

Is there ever a time that I won’t receive my pay early?

It is our practice to post your direct deposit as soon as it is received by the credit union, which means you may receive your paycheck at least one calendar day early.

In instances where we do not receive the information ahead of time, the credit union is not able to post your deposit early. Instead, your direct deposit will be posted on your normal payday or as soon as we receive it.

If your direct deposit is not posted early, it could be due to one of the following reasons: (1) Your employer does not submit your payroll into the ACH system in time to post it early. This sometimes happens when a holiday falls on a weekday. (2) The ACH system is not functioning properly, resulting in a delay. In our experience, this is a rare occurrence.

If my pay is not posted early for any reason, will I be notified?

If we receive your direct deposit early, it will be posted to your account one to three calendar days early. However, you are responsible for verifying that your payroll has posted early. We recommend you verify your payroll deposit by using Online Banking, Mobile Banking, Direct Touch banking or by calling the Help Desk prior to authorizing any payments or writing any checks.

How can I be sure that my pay posts early?

We recommend you verify your payroll deposit by using Online Banking, Mobile Banking, Direct Touch banking or by calling the Help Desk prior to authorizing any payments or writing any checks.

To sign up for Direct Touch and/or Online Banking, call the Help Desk or visit any branch.

If I incur an overdraft fee because my paycheck didn’t deposit early, will I be reimbursed?

Unfortunately no, you will not be reimbursed. Although it is our goal to process your payroll early, there may be instances where we are not able to do so. For that reason, verifying that your deposit has been made prior to issuing any payments or writing any checks is your responsibility.
