Congrats 2014 Rebecca Keith Scholarship Recipients

The scholarship was established in 2002 as a means to honor one of our founding members while assisting local youth with their desire to continue their education.

Every Bit Helps

While getting into college can be intimidating for some, paying for it can be a feat in itself. For over a decade, we’ve funded scholarships to help offset some of those costs. The MIDFLORIDA Credit Union / Rebecca Keith Scholarship is awarded each year to one student in each high school in Polk and Highlands counties. Named for one of our founding members, the scholarship provides $1,000 per year for four years of college tuition. While the scholarships are funded by MIDFLORIDA, we do not participate in the selection of the recipients. The application and selection process is handled by the Polk Education Foundation for Polk County schools and each school’s guidance counselor for Highlands County.
