The Board of Directors has set the following standard as a guideline for making charitable donations, however exceptions to this standard can be made at management’s discretion.
Donations of all kinds are reserved for those benefiting the communities that MIDFLORIDA serves. In general, MIDFLORIDA seeks participation in events that promote the financial institution in a positive light and benefit a large group of people in our communities.
MIDFLORIDA does not provide support or limits its support to national or regional fundraising programs and generally does not participate in the sponsorship of league sports programs, talent contests or pageants.
To ensure we are giving to organizations that complement our corporate philosophy and our membership as a whole, we will not support political groups, religious causes or social advocacy groups.
Submitting Your Request
Requests must be submitted in writing and should include the nature of your request (monetary donation, prize or giveaway, employee participation, etc.), the date of your event, a general overview of how many people will attend your event and what type of recognition MIDFLORIDA would receive as a participant in the event.
