Debit Card

Enjoy the buying power of cash, without carrying it.

Free with any checking account

A debit card offers you the convenience to make purchases anywhere in the world, over the phone or online. It is supported by the VISA network but tied to your checking account to give you spending flexibility. Plus it gives you instant access to your cash at ATMs or on point-of-sale transactions using a PIN. Credit approval is required.

To receive a new debit card, visit any full-service branch to have one issued to you instantly.* It really is instant!

Free Debit Card Rewards

Turn your shopping and everyday errands into a fundraising effort for your school or earn cash back for yourself. Learn more about the reward programs available on the MIDFLORIDA debit card.

Card Control

Misplaced your debit card? Lock it instantly in Online Banking or the Mobile Banking app. The temporary freeze will stop all purchases and withdrawals, but will not stop automatic payments you’ve set up with your debit card. You can also set preferences for merchant and transaction types. Just look for the My Cards section.

Visa Updater Service

Tired of altering automatic payments every time you receive a new debit or credit card? Visa Updater to the rescue! This service will automatically update old card numbers so payments can process without interruption or action from you.

You may opt out of the Visa Account Updater service to keep your card from automatically updating.

To report a lost or stolen Debit Card, please call (800) 528-2273, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How can I activate my new card?
To activate a new card, please call our activation line at (866) 642-0450.

How can I change my debit card PIN?

If you do not know your current PIN, you can call (877) 265-9594. If you know your current PIN and would like to change it, you can visit a MIDFLORIDA ATM to perform a PIN reset.

Please note: When using a debit card for purchases, merchants often place a hold on the funds until the transaction is fully processed through the bank. In some cases, the hold may be for more than the actual purchase – that’s often the case with gasoline purchases. While these holds are removed once the matching transaction comes in, they can impact the available balance and limit the funds available. Using services such as Mobile Banking, Text Banking or Direct Touch Banking allows immediate account access to ensure there are funds available prior to making a purchase.
