Did You Know? MIDFLORIDA Offers Plaid Integration!
Plaid is a secure online service that allows your bank account to seamlessly integrate into applications. Plaid has more than 800 clients that have accounts integrated into them every day in just minutes, if not seconds, saving time in comparison to manual linking (which can take up to 5 days!). Some of Plaid’s clients include Robinhood, Webull, and even Carvana®!
Why does MIDFLORIDA use Plaid?
MIDFLORIDA uses Plaid because our members’ security is our priority, and we know that Plaid offers the best encryption and security standards in the industry. Plaid uses AES 256 (Advanced Encryption Standard), the same symmetric block cipher that government agencies like the Social Security Administration use to protect their data.
How do I get started?
The best part about Plaid is that once you have activated it from Online Banking or the MIDFLORIDA Mobile App, it works seamlessly! For most MIDFLORIDA accounts, Plaid will be automatically enabled by default; however, if yours isn’t working, or you would like to opt out of Plaid integration, here is how to do it.
From the MIDFLORIDA Website:
- Log into Midflorida.com using the big green button at the top right of the screen
- Click on “Profile”
- Click on “Security”
- Check or uncheck “Allow Sites and Apps Powered by Plaid®”

From the MIDFLORIDA Mobile App:
- Log into your account
- Tap on the cogwheel in the top-right corner
- Tap “Security”
- Tap “Security Settings”
- Check or uncheck “Allow Sites and Apps Powered by Plaid®”
