Explore our credit union scholarship opportunities
The MIDFLORIDA Credit Union / Rebecca Keith Scholarship is awarded to one senior in select high schools in Polk and Highlands counties and provides recipients $4,000 ($1,000 a year for four years of college tuition). Scholarships are funded by MIDFLORIDA, but the application and selection process is handled by the Polk Education Foundation for Polk County, and each school’s guidance counselor for Highlands County. Seniors interested in applying should contact the office appropriate to their area.
Polk County Applicants
The Polk Education Foundation has an online application for scholarships that opens in February of each year. Visit the Polk Education Foundation website for more information about the scholarship.
Highlands County Applicants
Guidelines and applications for the current year’s scholarship for Highlands County can be obtained from each school’s guidance counselor, or any Highlands County branch. Or, download and print the guidelines and application. (Completed applications are only accepted by the school guidance counselors.)
Giving back
Scholarships aren’t the only way MIDFLORIDA gives back to local schools. We also offer our members an opportunity to help contribute to education through Extra Credit for Schools, a debit card rewards program that lets you raise money for the school of your choice at no additional cost to you.
