Overview

Are you an eligible full-time worker looking for homeownership assistance?

Please note that our Hometown Heroes program funding for 2023 has been fully allocated. Stay tuned for updates next year regarding new funding developments.

MIDFLORIDA Credit Union is proud to offer the Florida Hometown Heroes Housing Program to help our full-time Florida community workers fulfill the American Dream of owning your very own home. The program offers down payment and closing cost assistance and is a great option for those looking to buy their first home in the communities where they work or serve. To be classified as a first time home buyer, you must not have occupied or owned the home you're purchasing in the past three years. If you are a Veteran the first time home buyer qualification is waived.

The Florida Hometown Heroes Housing Program offers affordable homeownership opportunities to eligible full-time community workers employed by Florida-based employers.
