Registering Your Device

Keep your website experience secure

To further safeguard your account, MIDFLORIDA registers the devices (computers or WAP-enabled phones) you use to regularly access your account by storing some small files (cookies) on them.

If you are away from your usual computer, you can still access your account information. When MIDFLORIDA does not recognize your device, you must further verify your identity with a one-time passcode, a 6-digit code that you can receive by email, text message or voice message using contact information we already have on file.

If you are using your regular device, and your cookies have been deleted, you will also be sent a one-time passcode to verify your identity.

Questions?

I enabled cookies. Why am I being prompted for a one-time passcode again?
Cookies can be reset or deleted from browsers for any number of reasons (such as a browser update or upgrade, or clearing your history), so you may occasionally be prompted for a one-time passcode again, even if you’ve done it before.

What if I don’t want to enable cookies?
The choice is completely up to you, but please note that not enabling cookies may also limit some website functionality, and will prevent you from logging in to Online Banking and Mobile Banking.
