Account Changes

The following changes will be made to all accounts.

1. AMENDMENTS AND TERMINATION – Significant revisions have been made to this section to, among other things, account for case law interpretations regarding so-called "change in terms" provisions. One of the primary changes to this section includes clarifying that the financial institution has the right to add new terms, to delete terms, and to reserve the right to waive any term of the agreement.

2. LEGAL ACTIONS AFFECTING YOUR ACCOUNT - This section was updated to clarify that, subject to applicable law, an institution can freeze assets in an account "or take other action as may be appropriate under the circumstances." This change was made to account for a recent Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) Consent Order.
