Once direct deposit is set up, MIDFLORIDA credits your pay early when your employer or agency sends the deposit file, which can be up to two days before your payday. Learn more about Early Paycheck
You can pick up a contactless instant-issue debit card at a branch or have one mailed to you. Mailed cards typically arrive within 7-10 business days.
To help protect against overdrafts, you can link a MIDFLORIDA savings account or line of credit to your checking account. If you do not have enough money to cover a transaction, MIDFLORIDA will make a courtesy transfer for you (fee applies). See fee schedule
There are many ways to get cash out of your MIDFLORIDA account. You can withdraw cash at any branch or drive-thru. You can also use MIDFLORIDA or Publix Presto ATMs without a surcharge. Many retailers also allow cash back during a point-of-sale purchase.

Freedom Banking, fiduciary and minor accounts and secondary checking accounts excluded. Other terms and conditions apply. To qualify for the $400 incentive, you must open a new Free Checking account with direct deposit ($4,000 cumulative which must post within 75 days of account opening); accept and open Online Banking, eStatement, and a debit card; and complete 40 debit card purchase transactions which must post within 75 days of account opening. To qualify for the $200 incentive, you must open a new Free Checking account with direct deposit ($2,000 cumulative which must post within 75 days of account opening); accept and open online banking, eStatement, and a debit card; and complete 20 debit card purchase transactions which must post within 75 days of account opening. Direct deposit must be an automated clearing house (ACH) credit of your paycheck, pension or government benefits from your employer or the government; tax refunds, cash transfer app deposits and transfers from another MIDFLORIDA account do not qualify. No dividends are paid on Free Checking. Annual Percentage Yield is 0.00%. Limit one incentive per Social Security number. Past checking account holders and previous recipients of checking account incentives are ineligible. Account must remain open and unrestricted at least 90 days to qualify for the incentive. After all qualifications have been met, the incentive will be deposited to the new Free Checking account within 90 days of account opening and will be reported to the IRS. Minimum to open Free Checking is $50.
