FAQs

Members continually ask for access to the branch network throughout Florida. This represents a natural expansion plan but offers it at a more accelerated rate. In fact, currently, we have members that live in these areas that bank with us but have no access to a nearby branch.

The culture, as well as the products and services of Prime Meridian mirror MIDFLORIDA’s commitment to customer service and customer needs. Second, the bank’s market represents an opportunity to grow into the panhandle to service existing customers as well as the opportunity to grow. Prime Meridian’s structure complements MIDFLORIDA’s and will result in an even stronger financial institution.

Starting April 20, MIDFLORIDA members will have access to locations in Tallahassee.

By combining each institution’s strengths, Prime Meridian's customers will benefit from a deeper commitment to exceptional service, more convenient hours, and premier products and services with branches across the state.

As of March 1, 2026, Prime Meridian Bank is now MIDFLORIDA Credit Union. Prime Meridian customers will be able to use MIDFLORIDA branches beginning April 20. Prime Meridian customers will receive correspondence during the merger process that will outline details more clearly.

MIDFLORIDA customers will be able to visit the existing Prime Meridian locations beginning April 20.

Prime Meridian Bank customers will continue to bank as normal for now. MIDFLORIDA is committed to providing excellent customer service, and will communicate regularly to keep customers informed. As we move forward with the merger process, customers will receive correspondence that will outline details more clearly to make the transition as smooth as possible.

You can continue using your Prime Meridian Bank credit card just as you always have—there’s no need for a replacement. Your card was issued through First Arkansas Bank & Trust and is serviced by Card Assets, so everything will remain seamless for you.

All employees of Prime Meridian Bank will become employees of MIDFLORIDA Credit Union.

MIDFLORIDA looks forward to expanding access in the Tallahassee area, and we understand there are many exciting changes taking place in a short period of time. As we progress through the conversion process, we remain committed to devoting all resources and focus toward ensuring everything runs smoothly. We expect the extended drive thru hours to start sometime in late 2026 or early 2027 at the existing Prime Meridan Bank locations. However, Prime Meridian customers who are close to other MIDFLORIDA locations may visit any of our 65+ branches and enjoy the extended hours immediately following conversion weekend.
