What You Need to Know

A new and improved card experience is coming this summer! Your rate, card controls, and built in security features will remain the same—now with enhanced security and everyday benefits from Mastercard. Visa credit cards will expire on July 20, regardless of the expiration date on your card.

Understanding Your New Mastercard

We made the decision to partner with Mastercard as our MIDFLORIDA credit card issuer as part of our ongoing commitment to continuously improve the benefits and services we deliver to our members. Your no-cost upgrade to the new MIDFLORIDA Mastercard is a demonstration to this commitment.

No, your current card is being discontinued, so to enjoy uninterrupted service, it's important to activate and begin using your new MIDFLORIDA Mastercard on or after July 20.

No, your rate will not change because of this switch.

Card delivery times can vary, but you should receive your card by July 20. On July 20, simply:

  • Call to activate and set a PIN
  • Destroy your old card

If you haven't received your card by then, give us a call at (863) 688-3733 or toll-free at (866) 913-3733.

Your Visa credit card will expire on July 20, 2026, regardless of the expiration date printed on your card.

No, you will have a new card number, expiration date, and CVV code. Please update any place you have your MIDFLORIDA credit card saved once you receive your new Mastercard.

Although Costco accepts Debit Mastercard's with a PIN, they unfortunately do not accept Mastercard credit cards.
