Did you know that MIDFLORIDA started as the Polk County Teachers Credit Union in 1954? Our name has changed and we've grown to serve more than just teachers in Polk County, but we’ll never lose sight of how and why we got our start.

Fundraising made easy

Extra Credit is just one of the ways we help give back to the schools in our community. The program lets you earn money for your school just for using your MIDFLORIDA debit card. Simply select the credit option for payment and we’ll donate up to 10¢ to your school for each qualifying transaction. Enrolling in the program is easy, too! Log in to Online Banking to register your card and designate a school, then watch your school reap the rewards. (To register your school in the program, please have an authorized school representative (i.e. the principal) submit a request.)

We know your workday doesn’t end when the bell rings, and that’s exactly why our drive-thrus are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (coming soon to branches in southwest and northcentral Florida!). Plus, we’re proud to offer full-service Saturdays when you need to speak with a Relationship Banker about your financial needs.
